Living in our thoughts...

Living in our best thoughts..

Living in our best thoughts..

We are what our thoughts are.  Thoughts become reality.   I am not saying what you don’t all ready know—how many times have we heard those statements?   I am not Eckhart Tolle.   All I can go on our my own thoughts, and noticing what kind of effect my thinking has.

A couple of months ago I started a new thing.  I have been consistent enough that I think I can call it my morning ritual.   I have a little journal on a table in my bedroom.   When I get up out of bed, one of the first things I do, is I go over to the chair, pick up the journal and open it to my last inscription.   I read over what I wrote the morning before.   I write three things I am grateful for, three things that I look forward to for the day, and then an “I am” statement.   The “I am” helps me own something about myself that I need to acknowledge that helps me be present in the world.

After I read what I had written, I put the new date of today, and again, three things I am grateful for, three things I look forward to and an “I am.”

I have been amazed that what I have written seems to be what happens.

The “I am” statements help me feel blessed and positive about who I am and what I can contribute to the world around me.

A trajectory into the positive is a nice route.   It has given me a good space to be.

There is a lot of uncertainty, and there is a lot of worry.  These are new times for us all.    Covid-19 is something that we have never encountered.

I know good things will come out of this pandemic.   Better world health.  We are acknowledging that we all breathe the same air.   We will move towards taking care of the most important thing-our health.    There is lots of money we have in military protection that we can switch into research for vaccines and immunizations.

Moving forward in a positive light—how can you make your thoughts a good space to be in?

Peace and love,

Jess
